The Lou Laugh Lounge is a weekly comedy showcase featuring stand-up comedians competing for prizes and bragging rights. Think of it as your personal “Comedy Tiny Desk” — filmed in an intimate setting, with only 20 live audience members and broadcast online for everyone to enjoy.

 

The Lou Laugh Lounge is a 1-hour live show, featuring 3 comedians, a host, a master of ceremonies, DJ vibes, and a few quick ad breaks. It’s fast-paced, high-energy, and packed with laughs — perfect for an unforgettable night out or an online watch party.

Comedians can sign up through our website portal at www.theloulaughlounge.com. Slots are limited and fill up fast — winners get exposure, and a shot at hosting and headlining their own special.

No there is no minimum, food is provided by sponsors of the Episodes and Segments. Food and drinks can be purchased on site or online

Doors open at 5:00 PM for check-in, networking, food and refreshments. The show starts promptly at 7:00 PM. Please arrive early — no late entry is allowed once filming begins.

Each comedian is given 4 exclusive Electronic card tickets to invite guests. If you receive a ticket, you must tap the card with your phone, fill out the registration form, and bring the physical card with you to be admitted. No card, no entry — no exceptions.

Don’t know a comedian? Get connected! If you know someone affiliated with the show or part of the production team, reach out — they might be able to help you secure a spot. Seating is extremely limited, and this exclusive setup keeps the vibe intimate and invite-only. However you can always watch online.

The Lou Laugh Lounge showcases a diverse range of comedy, from raw and unfiltered stand-up to clever observational humor, character work, storytelling, and crowd work. Expect everything from relatable real-life moments to wild, laugh-out-loud sets — all curated for a grown, uncut audience. Each week brings a fresh lineup with different comedic styles, so no two shows are ever the same.

Each show features 3 competing comedians, plus a host and master of ceremonies (MC) to keep the laughs rolling and the energy high. The three comedians each get their moment to shine, and one winner is chosen each week by the online and studio audience. You have 72 hours to vote.

No late entry is allowed. Due to the intimate nature of the show and live filming, all guests must be seated before showtime. Doors close promptly, and entry after the show has started is not permitted — so arrive early and don’t miss a minute of the laughs!

No, outside food or drinks are not allowed. Our food Sponsor has curated food  and we have signature drink specials to purchase during each show. Come hungry and thirsty — we’ve got you covered with exclusive bites and cocktails that enhance the comedy experience!

You never know!!! We often feature special guest comedians, surprise appearances, and celebrity drop-ins to keep the show fresh and exciting. Each week, 3 comedians perform live and are judged by the online audience. Here’s how it works:

  • Each comedian gets up to 10 minutes to perform.

  • Performances are filmed live and posted to our YouTube channel.

  • Viewers must like the video, follow us on social media, and subscribe to our YouTube channel for their vote to count.

  • Voting happens through an official online poll 72hrs linked after each episode.

  • Weekly winners advance to the finale in Week 4, where the top comics from each week compete for the title.

  • The champion wins a 30-minute Filmed and Produced Comedy Special and becomes the Host for next series.

If you win the monthly competition, your 30-minute comedy special will be filmed and featured the following month during a dedicated recording session. We’ll work with you to schedule the taping, promote it across our platforms, and give you full creative input to showcase your talent at its best. It’s your time to shine — professionally shot, edited, and shared with the world.
